Eligibility to do PhD course for who has completed Integrated M.Tech postgraduate on Diploma basis?


Hello Everyone,
I did my Integrated M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering....
I have completed my Diploma Mechanical then join
this integrated course...now I want to do PhD
I haven't learned 12th or H.S.....
Please tell me I am eligible or not for PhD?

Yes, you are eligible for Ph.D course because you have completed M.Tech but you should qualify in UGC NET exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET Exam is masters degree from recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET Exam.

There is no age criteria for NET Exam but for JRF your age should be below 28 years.
