Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue PhD in History course :-

@ The minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for pursuing PhD in History course is "Master's Degree" or Post Graduation in concerned stream with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.

@ If you are done with Master's Degree in concerned stream, then I can say that you are certainly eligible to pursue this course.

@ Besides this, you are required to appear in any of the GATE/ CSIR UGC NET/ Concerned college's PhD entrance examination then you are certainly eligible to pursue this course.

In order to pursue PhD in History, you should have completed your master's degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. Candidates with a master’s degree in history with at least 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the PhD in History. Candidates have to appear for an entrance examination and personal interview for the admission to the PhD in History program. Those candidates who have qualified NET/SET/MPhil in the relevant subject are exempted from the entrance examination.
