Is it necessary to appear in entrance exam for study PhD in Urdu?
Hi Friends,
I am a Government Teacher and completed M.A. in Urdu. Can I do PhD in Urdu? Please give me some tips about eligibility. Is there any entrance exam, necessary? |

If you have got 55% marks in your M.A Urdu then surely you can apply for PH.D admission. If you want to apply for admission without entrance exam then try to qualify NET/SET in Urdu subject.
PH.D is a research programme and without exam and interview you won't get admission. There is merit list prepared before selecting the candidates. |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years. |
