Hello everyone,
I am a Private Teacher and completed my M.A. in Urdu.
Can I do PhD in Urdu? Please tell me about the eligibility
criteria for applying PhD in Urdu course in Osmania University?

Just make sure that you have got at leas 55% marks in your post graduation from a recognized University. For reserved category candidates there is relaxation of 5% marks for getting admission in India. If you have minimum 5 years of professional experience in the given subject then you will be exempted from any other entrance exam.

You can apply for admission when the notification for Ph.D admission is released by the University. Normally, if you have NET/SLET/GATE/JRF score then you will have good chance of getting admission in your choice of college. If not then you have to appear for other entrance exams for admission.
