I have passed Masters in Electrical stream and now want to do PhD from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. Please tell me how they select for PhD? How much stipend I can get during PhD?

Selection Procedure to pursue PhD in Electrical Stream at Guru Gobind Singh Indra Prastha University:

In general, admission into PhD program is done through "Entrance Test" conducted by the university.

>> Candidates who have valid score of UGC/ CSIR NET or GATE or ICMR JRF or UGV NET JRF or DBT JRF are exempted to appear in entrance examination.

>> Entrance examination is of qualifying for getting admission into PhD program with 50% marks as the qualifying cutoff.

>> As far as my best knowledge is concerned, there is no such stipend available.

>> Written test is followed by Interview or vice voce which will be conducted by university for getting admission into doctoral program.
