Sir, I am MA History student in Magadh University and willing to do PhD in History from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Please tell me way to get admission?

Candidates who have completed masters of Arts in History with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized university are eligible to do PhD in the relevant discipline.
In order to get admission into Jawaharlal Nehru University for PhD in History, you must have to appear and qualify in UGC NET entrance exam or JNUEE (Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam) conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University itself.
Those candidates who have qualified in NET exam, are exempted from JNUEE entrance exam for PhD course.

If you want to do Ph.D history from JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University), then you must have to appear in written exam conducted by JNU for admission of eligible candidates for Ph.D courses. >> Candidates who have obtained M.Phil Degree from a recognized university on average of 6.00 on a 10 point scale

>> You are required to appear in entrance examination conducted by JNU or else you must have passed UGC NET/ CSIR NET with good valid score.

Candidates those who are wiling to do Ph.D in History from JNU, must have completed their MA in History from a recognized University with scoring a minimum of 55% of marks in it.
Eligible candidates those who have secured the above mentioned percentage of marks are eligible to appear in the NET examination, qualifying in which they can take admission in the above mentioned University in order to study Ph.D course.
Admission is based on the marks scored in the NET examination.
