What is the eligibility criteria asked for doing Ph.D course?
What is the age limit for doing p.hd and what is qualification for doing phd? What is the eligibility criteria asked for doing Ph.D course? Can someone provide me the complete information in detail as soon as possible? Awaiting to hear from you all!

You must have a Master's degree in most case with atleast 55% marks in a given discipline to become eligible for Ph.D admission. In some institutes B.Tech/MBBS graduates are also eligible for Ph.D admission if they have 60% marks and GATE/NET qualification. There is no upper age limit mentioned in case of Ph.D admission, therefore, don't worry about age if you are having the qualification with given percentage.
Admission is mainly based on merit and you have to appear for entrance exam and interview. Please note that if you have NET/SLET/JRF/GATE qualification then you will be exempted from entrance exam. |
