What is the time duration will it take to complete Ph.D in Physics?
Sir/Mam,
Can u please tell me that in how much duration we complete our Ph.D in Physics? What are the steps I need to follow up for the same? Can you please guide me with the steps and the way forward? Thank you! |

Those candidates who have completed BS-4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for CSIR NET exam. Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree. Your age should be below 28 years. |

Ph.D is basically of 2 years course but it also depends upon the type of subject on which you are researching for, it can also take up to 4-5 years of time period. Therefore the minimum time has been mentioned above but there is no such fixed time period to complete the course.
