dear friend
If you want to be an astronomer or astrophysicist then you will need a Ph.D. Most uni's don't have astronomy or astrophysics as an undergraduate degree..... So go to the best university that you are accepted to and feel is a good fit for you. thanks |

Dear friend,
You have to study the astro physics related physics like space physics, particle physics etc. After your graduation in physics you can go for Master's degree in specialized physics courses in reputed IITs, or NITs. When you complete your M.Sc then go for Phd or research field in space physics. So find out the institute you want to join.. Best wishes.. |
