Will I be eligible for UGC NET after completing MA Environmental Studies?


Respected Sir, I am pursuing MA Environmental Studies and after completing it I want to apply for UGC NET exam. I want to know that will I be eligible for UGC NET after completing MA Environmental Studies? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, you will be eligible for UGC NET exam after completion of your post graduation. But for that you have to complete MA with 55% or above marks as the minimum percentage required in post graduation for UGC NET exam is 55% and your university should be approved by UGC. THANKS

Yes, you are eligible for UGC NET exam in Environmental Studies.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D entrance exam. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Final years of masters degree candidates are also eligible for UGC NET exam.
