I have studied bds degree in a college in kerala. Now i want to know if i am eligible to write comedk dental mds entrance test or not?

COMEDK is Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka.

You can apply for COMEDK PGET 2016 exam after BDS if you meet following eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates from all over India can apply for exam.

2. Candidate should have passed their MBBS/BDS from a institute recognized by Medical council of India or Dental Council of India.

3. Percentage of marks for general category candidates is 50% and for SC/ST candidates is 40%.

Yes, you are eligible for the COMEDK 2016 PG Entrance exam. Here are the details of the entrance exam.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should have completed Internship by 30 April 2016.

* Candidate must have obtained Permanent registration with MCI/ DCI or State Dental/ Medical council.

* Candidate should have completed MBBS/ BDS from a recognized university.

* Candidate should secure at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.

* Relaxation is applicable as per norms.

EXAM PATTERN :

* Section I - Direct MCQ's - 148 questions with 1 mark each.

* Section II - Clinical Vignettes linked MCQ's - 32 questions with 1 mark each.

Yes, BDS is the required qualification for admission in MDS. Therefore, you are definitely eligible for COMEDK Dental PG entrance exam.

Just make sure that you have got your degree from a recognized dental college in India which should be approved by Medical Council of India.
