The following are the best books to prepare for the PGCET exam in the field of computer science.

1) Discrete Mathematical Structures by DSC, kenneth rosen
2) Graph Theory by DSC, Narsingh Deo
3) Formal languages & automata theory by Ullman and Hopcroft, peter linz
4)Design Analysis of Algorithms by Padmareddy , coreman
5)Data Structure by Padmareddy, Horowitz and Sahni
6)Logic design and computer organization by Morris Mano, hamacher
7)Operating Systems by Galvin,william stallings
8)Computer Networks by Andrew Tanenbaum, forouzan
9)System software(compiler design) by ravi sethi ullman
10)DBMS by Navathe
11)Web technology—-Some online materials
12)Multiple choice questions for computer science by timothy williams

And along with these books, it is better to refer old PGCET and GATE exam papers to gain good marks.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
