Can I appear in CAT exam if doing B.Sc(IT) from NIIT?
Hello
i am doing bsc(it) from niit with distance learning programme from kuvempu university.can i eligible to sit in CAT paper after compleated my bsc(it), OR regular master degree like mca and mba |

CAT stands for Common Admission Test. CAT examination is conducted by IIM's every year for admission in IIM and top level MBA colleges. Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. For SC/ST candidates the percentage is 45 % in graduation. There is no age limitation for the candidates. Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam. Yes, you are applicable for common admission test after bachelor in science in the field of information technology.
The eligibility conditions for common admission test are You must be an undergraduate in any stream with more than seventy percentage marks from any recognised Indian institution. Final year candidates can also appear for this examination. Cat examination is conducted once in a year by Indian institute of Management for admitting students to businesses administration programmes in various top business schools. As far as the exam scheme is concerned, the examination is an online examination with negative marking applicable. The duration will be two hours and fourth minutes. The test will mainly test your aptitude,, reasoning, and English language skills. |
