Myself doing my B.Com final year and willing to do masters in economics after B.Com. Can i do my M.A in economics soon after B.com with commerce background? or will i have to take up any exams now itself? Can someone please provide me the information soon?

You are a candidate of B.Com final year so you are not eligible for M.A in Economics.

Those candidates who have completed B.A in Economics from a recognized university are eligible for M.A in Economics.

Your age should be above 18 years.

If you have studied economics in graduation or 10+2 as a full subject then surely you will be eligible for admission in M.A Economics. Admission procedure varies from one university to other.

Some universities offer admission on the basis of marks in graduation and other conduct entrance exam for admission. Therefore, you have to apply according to the instructions.

Yes, you can do M.A Economics after B.Com. It is the subject which covers the principles of economic theory, Micro and Macro economics, International Economics and Banking system. It is a two year degree course.

Those candidates who have completed Graduation in relevant specialization are eligible to apply for MA Economics course. Minimum 50% of marks required at Graduation level.

Will i have to take up any exams?

It is based on the university which you have select to get admission for MA Economics. Because, most of the universities conduct their own entrance exam within the college. The admission will be allot based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam.
