Can I be eligible for SET/NET exam after completing post graduation ME (machine design) in mechanical engineering? and what are the job opportunities? I need the information on this soon to proceed further. Kindly help. Thanks!

The eligibility for the NET SET exam is post graduation.If you have done the courses like M.B.A,M.Sc or any equivalent you are eligible for the exam.
The candidates should get minimum marks of 55% for OBC candidates and general candidates.And for other 50% is required.
