I s there compulsory CET for post graduate for engineering or not? I mean to say that there is necessicity of the cet for post graduate or not

CET or common entrance test is not required for pursuing post graduation in the field of engineering. This is because many institutes take candidates via their management quota. However, in order to get the best institutes of the country you need to appear in the common entrance test which is held on all-India basis. The exams are listed below:-

- For good institutes like IITs you need to appear and qualify in the GATE exam.
- For abroad studies, you need to appear and qualify in GRE and TOEFL/IELTS.
- For private universities you need to appear and qualify in their respective concerned entrance exams.
