No, B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering candidates are not eligible for M.Sc in Physics or Geophysics.

Those candidates who have completed B.Sc in Physics or Geophysics. from a recognized University are eligible for M.Sc in Physics or Geophysics.

Your age should be in between 18 to 25 years.

Yes, you can go for courses like M.Sc in Physics or M.Sc in Geophysics after completion of your B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. For admission in top universities in India, you need to appear in the concerned entrance exam based on which admission is done and score well to make through. Both physics and geophysics are very good fields and have different field of application. You should choose the field as per your interest, comfort and future goals. You need to have good fundamental knowledge on any of these areas whichever you opt for higher studies as certain universities also conduct interview round.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
