Being an IT student, you can write the RRB exam and join in railways as a Non-Technical Cadre. The qualifications needed are:

# Candidate appearing should have a citizenship in India

# Age limit needed is 18-30 years and this is for general category candidate. There are relaxation for other category candidates.

# For SC/ST candidates it is 5 years extra and for OBC it is 3 years extra.

# Regarding the educational qualification, candidate need to have completed a degree in any stream from a recognized university and should have good typing skills in English and Hindi.

If you satisfy these then you can apply for the exam and the candidates will be selected through:

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains Exam
• Medical Exam
• Interview
