Is masters in science approved all over India or only in the state where we complete it? for eg. is m.sc in chemistry/physcis is applicable in all over india or not? What would be the minimum criteria followed for this to apply for the course?

Yes, any degree (master) degree from any recognised university is valid not only in state/country but even in the abroad.

So, if you have master degree from recognised university you can appear for various entrance examination conducted on all India basis either for recruitment in jobs or for higher studies.

If the course is studied through the UGC recognized college or university then the Master of Science course (M.Sc) is valid all over India. So do not bother about the validity of the course, concentrate on studies. The candidate can apply for various central government jobs with the M.Sc certification from any state. It is acknowledged and approved all over India and also abroad if it has been done from a recognized University. There is nothing such as what you have stated above.

The minimum qualification required in order to be eligible for the course is that the candidate should have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% in aggregate.

After that candidate will have to appear for entrance examination conducted in order to provide admission to candidates in the above mentioned course. Some of the examinations are mentioned below, kindly have a look at it;

According to the eligibility criteria released by the UGC :

* The candidate should be a citizen of India.

* The candidate should have completed graduation through any stream under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least form a recognized university.

* The candidate should be of 21 years at least at the time of application.

Following the above, if you fill this criteria then you are eligible for the course.

Also the courses from the universities recognized by the UGC are valid throughout the territory of India and not only in the states from which you complete it.

Yes, the Master's degree in Science is approved all over India and even in other foreign countries only if you have pursued your Post graduation from recognised university. The Master's degree in Science certificate, you obtain from any recognised university is valid to pursue your higher studies and to apply for Central/ State government jobs.
