Procedure for admission in self sponsored M.Tech course in IIT?

IITs are reputed institutes where admission is only through merit. There is no self sponsored seats as of now. You need to clear GATE for getting admission.

For GATE you need B.Tech with 60% marks and then after qualifying you have to attend counselling for admission. If you have good enough score in GATE then you have great chance of admission in IIT.
