Re: Whether a BBA candidate is eligible to get admission in MBA? Is it necessary to appear in GMAT?
Yes, definitely a candidate who have completed BBA course can get admission in MBA course. But, to get admission in MBA course, you need to appear for MBA entrance examinations like MAT, CAT, CMAT, XAT, etc. To be eligible to appear for any of these entrance examinations, you must have completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in any discipline with aggregate of 50% or above marks from a recognised university. By qualifying the entrance examination, you can get admission in MBA course. Based on your entrance examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in a particular college. No, it is not necessary to appear for GMAT examination to get admission in MBA course. If you wish to pursue your MBA course in Abroad, then, you need to appear for GMAT examination for getting admission in foreign universities.

Yes, if a candidate has pursued BBA degree, he/she is eligible to get admission in MBA course. In order to pursue MBA course, one has to get admission through entrance exam on the basis of which the concerned institute takes admission. For the IIMs, the entrance exam is CAT along with GD and interview. For XLRIs it is XAT. Similarly there are others likes CMAT, SNAP, private university's entrance exam through which one can get admission. GMAT is for admission in MBA in foreign institutes. Hence it is not necessary to appear in GMAT if you want to study in India.
