I am sorry to say that, you cannot become a pilot right after completing your 10th standard. You have to complete your 10+2 first after that you have to do a pilot training course.

Here is the eligibility criteria to join pilot training course after your 12th examination:

> Minimum qualification required is 12th with an aggregate of minimum 50% in physics and maths considering them as compulsory subjects.

> Age must be in between 16.5 years to 19 years.

> You have to be physically fit.

> Only male candidates who are unmarried can apply.

The selection of candidates for pilot training course is done through personal aptitude test conducted by the institute.

If you want to become a commercial pilot then minimum requirements are:

> Clear DGCA class 2 medical and get your file number.

> You have to take an initial ground class for an experienced instructor.

> You have to choose a good flight training school for your training.

> Fly and log minimum of 200 hrs.

> Clear the theory and flying examinations and get your CPL.

If you want to become a pilot in Indian Air force then there are two types of entries:

> NDA entry.

> CDSE entry.

These entries are done under UPSC.

All the best.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
