The aspirant has to contact the company HR and confirm the details in the consultancy letter. Some of the companies recruit candidates through job consultants also. So we cannot say all the consultants are bad. But, the aspirant attend interview directly in the company only, so he can get the details from the company directly. Check twice the offer letter before you decide.
