1- Scope (in next 4-5 years)
2- Earnings per annum
a) Government sector
b) Private sector
3- Possibility of government jobs
4- Job Security in Private Sector

The branch which interests you more is the best course.

Don’t bother about packages or anything.

Whatever may be the course many of the engineering students end up in the Software / IT / consultancy firms.

Both the courses are good courses.

You can choose any one which like the most.
