There is no programming language which will hold special preference during the recruitment process of iGate. The depth in the concerned programming language and your approach to a particular problem matters the most. However, you should know at least one object oriented programming language. Usually Java, Dotnet are the primary programming languages which are demanded but other languages like C++, Python are also welcome. Apart from this, if you know scripting languages like Javascript, Ruby on Rails, etc. then it is an added advantage as there are very less professionals in this field.
