Is there a tough competition between CSE students because of highly preferred?

Hi,
Many experts are saying that in today's world there are large crowd of CSE students. In every B.Tech engineering college CSE seats are filled at 1st preference. So, there will be very tough competition for CSE students in near future. Is it true?

The opportunities for CSE graduates is at par with the number of seats in engineering colleges. This is because the IT industry is huge and there is huge requirement of Indian software engineers. However, since students of various engineering branches are incorporated by IT companies, so the competition level becomes high. However, CSE students are preferred by IT companies and there is huge competition for good opportunities. If you are good at programming and communication skill you can definitely get lucrative career options.

Yes, it is true there is tough competition for CSE students for a job. It is actually common for all the trades not only CSE. There are only limited jobs and the candidates applying are huge numbers, so there is high competition. The companies set high marks criteria for the selection. So you should score high marks to get selected in good organizations with decent salary. The students who studied other majors like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil etc are also applying for CSE jobs. So the competition is high. You have to be at the top to get selected in top companies.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
