There are various aspects which are looked in GD round and it varies from moderator to moderator and company to company. Hence you have follow the general guidelines to do well in GD. The companies generally look for :-

- Communication skill of the candidates.
- Behaviour of the candidate in the group.
- Contribution to the discussion being held.
- Team spirit and team work.

Usually according to the proper proforma, after GD, technical and hr rounds are held. However sometimes due to dearth of time both are merged into one. Capgemini will ask some fundamentals of your mechanical engineering, your projects and training, certification and computer related stuff. You can study the below mentioned books to prepare well.

In order to get in to Capgemini, you need to have the following eligibility criteria.

• Need to have 60% in graduation
• Need to have 60% in 10th and 12th standards

Selection Procedure:

• Written Test
• Group Discussion
• Technical Round
• HR Interview

Group Discussion Topics:

You will be given a topic which will be from latest trends. You will be tested in,

• Speaking ability
• Listening and responding ability
• How creative you are?

GD plays a key role after written test and is the one testing in your speaking and creative thinking.

Sample GD Topics:

• Internet impact on India
• Is Facebook a boon or bane?
• Behind success of every man there is a woman.
• Which is best to get in to? Startup or MNC?
• Politicians are not interested in the future of our country.

In Technical round, whatever branch you are from, you will be asked questions from your subjects. Technical HR will be having knowledge on most of the subjects and you are asked questions from your selected
subject.

HR round will be a general talk discussing about the role you are being selected for, company goals, your package and all.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
