The main interest is concerned with the leading edge of consumer research done in various parts of the world and not just India and Asia. This paper will include questions on Consumer sciences and their application. There are also going to be questions on the different policies pertaining to consumerism. Some of the concepts are complex and hence, the student is advised to go through each before actually attempting the paper. Another aspect of this paper is consumer education which will contain detailed analysis of consumer forum and its advantages and disadvantages, Consumer protection: safety, standards, empowerment and entitlement and economic security. Consumer behavior is also important and is concerned with business and marketing practices, goods and services, retailing. Topics like consumer ecosystem, sustainability, ethical technology, consumption, gender issues etc are also very important part of this subject. Consumer Studies paper has 20 marks, 10 marks and 5 marks questions which are kept in 1st, 2nd and 3rd section respectively. From 1st section there will be 2 questions to be answered, from 2nd section there will be 4 questions to be answered and from last section there will be again 4 questions to be answered.
