The Industrial Organization and Management Paper is segregated into two sections. Each section is further subdivided into many units which are further divide into two parts and each part is divided in the form of two or three questions in the part. You need to answer either part 1 or part 2 of each unit. The paper is a total of 100 marks and is conducted for a total of three hours. Some of the topics that are covered in section 1 are Joint Company stock, organization like matrix and project, functions of organization and practices. Theory’s like McClelland’s theory of achievement, Maslow’s theory of need hierarchy, trait theory of leadership are also covered. Break even analysis, entrepreneurship and finance are some other topics. Section 2 has topics like marketing- customer driven and strategies, products life cycle, customer equity, product and its classification, Human Resource Management, recruitment, selection and Industrial Dispute Act.
