A maximum of hundred and fifty marks is assigned to the biochemistry paper and the time duration is three hours as per the Tamil Nadu state board. There are four parts in this paper. The first part consist of very short answer questions like multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, match the column, true and false etc, with one marks assigned to each question. Second part contains twenty questions out of which any fifteen questions of two marks each are required to be answered. Third part which is divided into two sections requires six questions to be answered in all- one from section A and five from section B where each carries five marks. In the last part any four questions of ten marks each are to be attempted. Hence this is a lengthy section. The questions are set in an organized manner, keeping in mind the syllabus specified by the board. Below are attached some of the previous years question papers.
