I am studying in 10th and preparing for the Board exam in Kannada medium. After my 10th, I want to continue my Higher Secondary in Kannada medium but my cousins are advising me to study in English. Please tell me the advantages of doing in English medium?

Studying in any other medium other than English medium will actually not harm you, it will benefit you as any candidate studying in English medium, the difference lies only with the communication and how well you get acquainted with the language which has become a major and worldwide accepted language. Other than that there is no such difference in education and knowledge they provide in English medium or kannada or any other medium of education.

Advantages of English medium :-

- The entrance exams after HSC is usually in English.
- The higher studies after HSC will be in English medium.
- The foreign universities conduct courses in English.
- Companies prefer English proficient candidates.
