The minimum age limit to appear for 10th CBSE exam is 14 years and the maximum age limit is 16 years. Any candidate should satisfy this age limit to appear for 10th CBSE exam. So, now your child is not eligible to appear for 10th CBSE exam. If you want to know any more details please check the following link to know about CBSE rules.

The minimum age required to join in 10th standard as on 31st March of the year of admission is 14 years. So, to be eligible to appear in CBSE 10th standard examinations, the candidate must have attained the minimum age of 15 years. In some cases, if the age limit is not sufficient to appear in examinations, you can provide Medical certificate and you can appear in CBSE 10th board examinations. Since, your son is 13 years old, so, he cannot appear in CBSE 10th standard board examinations.
