My son is July 2013 born. He will complete 2 years and enter 3 years as of August 2015. Please help me regarding his admission whether he would be going to Nursery or Play Group?

The minimum age required to take admission in Nursery in CBSE Board is completion of 3 years. Since, your son has just completed 2 years and attained 3 years of age, you can join him in any play school but, you cannot get admission for him in Nursery in CBSE Board.

Your son can't get admission at the age of 2 years.
To get admission in Nursery age of candidate must be more than 3 years as per CBSE guidelines.
So, your son can get admission in nursery next year.

As per the new rule of Government a candidate will be admitted in Nursery after 3 years only, so your son is now not eligible for the Nursery class. You should go now for Play Group and next year try for the Nursery class.

* As per the CBSE norms, to get admission in Nursery the child must have the 3 years 6 months. To appear in the tenth board exam the candidate must have up to 16 years. If his age is less then 16 years then he/she is not eligible to appear in the final exam.

As the minimum age criteria for attending pre school i.e.. nursery is that the candidate must have completed 2 years of age. The parent should keep in mind that the candidate should have complete his/ her class 10 at the age of 15.5 or 16 years of age. As 15 years is the ideal age for completion of class 10.

You can admit you are child in nursey for 3years. In nursey only time 3hours for studies.
It is your wish to admit in play school if the child age is 2yrs. In play school more time for playing only.
Lkg- 4yrs, UKG-5yrs.

Yes, your son is eligible to get admission in Nursery class of CBSE Board. There is no any age criteria for Nursery class but, in class 10th a candidate must not be less than 14 years of age that's why the minimum age to get admitted in Nursery class must be 3 years.

So, don't worry your son is eligible to get admission in class Nursery. As it will also satisfy the age criteria for class 10th when, he will be in class 10th.
