Yes, you can opt to appear for AIPMT/NEET examination and after clearing the examination you can get admission in any good college/university, to pursue your medical course further.
You will however have to score really well in your entrance test as you don't have impressive marks in your 12th board examination. |

** For 11th (Medical) admission candidate must have passed 10th class from a recognized board.
** As per my knowledge, you are eligible to get admission in Medical stream after scoring 50% marks in class 10th. |

Re: Am I eligible to pursue Medical stream after scoring 50% marks in class 10th?
Yes, you are eligible to pursue Medical stream after scoring 50% aggregate marks in your 10th standard. Candidates who have passed 10th standard in all subjects from a recognised board are eligible to get admission for pursuing 11th standard with Medical stream. Some schools conducts an entrance examination or admission test for offering admission in 11th standard and some other schools offer admissions in 11th standard on basis of merit of 10th standard examination marks.

Re: Am I eligible to pursue Medical stream after scoring 50% marks in class 10th?
To get admission in medical course the minimum required eligibility is 10+2 from a recognised board.
So, there is nothing to do with aggregate of 10th std. To get admission in medical courses candidates have to appear and qualify in NEET examination. NEET examination is conducted by CBSE. The minimum required aggregate to appear for examination is 50% in 12th std with PCB as main paper. |
