Can I get admission to study B.Tech through UPTU if secured 48% in 12th CBSE?


Hello Sir,
I have got 48% in 12th CBSE, so can I take admission in B.Tech through UPTU? Please reply as soon as possible. Waiting for your reply!

Yes, you can get admission in B.Tech through UPTU if secured 48% in 12th CBSE.
Candidate must have secured more than 45% marks to appear in UPTU exams. There is relaxation of 5% marks to reserved category candidates.
Age of candidate must be above 17 years.

For UPTU entrance exam for B.Tech admission you need at least 50% marks if you are a general category candidate. If you are reserved category candidate then you will get relaxation of 5% marks.

Therefore, with 48% marks you have chance for admission only when you belong to reserved category. Admission is based on the rank through counselling.
