Can I get any NIT with 87 marks in JEE Main and 70.80 in BSEB?
Sir i have scored 87 marks in jee main 2016 and 75.80 in BSEB 2015 which college i will get based on my this number? Please tell me can I get any NIT?

Cut off marks in Joint Entrance Examination Main:
General category candidates: 100 marks. OBC candidates: 70 marks. SC/ST candidates: 52 and 48 marks. You have not mentioned your category here. According to your marks mentioned here, if you belong to SC or ST category then there is chance of getting admission in any NIT. But if you come from open or OBC category then there is no chance. |

No, you cannot get admission in NIT with 87 marks in JEE Main and 70.80% aggregate marks in your 12th standard board examinations. To get admission in NIT, you must have to score at least 300 marks in JEE Main and more than 95% aggregate marks in your 12th standard board examinations. With the score you have obtained, you can get admission in average level colleges.

You have scored 87 marks in JEE Main exam and able to score 75.80% marks in 12th board exam. You want to know whether there is any chance of getting admission in NIT’s.

I am sorry to say that you have no chance of getting admission in NIT after having scored mere 87 marks in JEE Main and 75.80% marks in your 12th boards as the competition level is quite high nowadays and in order to get admission in NIT, you should have scored at least a minimum of 350 marks in your JEE Main entrance examination and above 90% in your 12th boards.
