Can I go abroad for higher studies after completing 12th from NIOS..? Will my nios board result accepted there?

Sorry to say but NIOS is a National Institute of Open Schooling so it is only valid in India only but if you give some entrance exams for study in abroad and if you are lucky enough then you might get a chance to study in abroad, otherwise you have to remain in India and have to pursue your graduation degree here only. But after completing graduation degree from recognized university if you want to go for higher study than after your graduation you can go to abroad and can pursue your higher degree from abroad.

* National institute of open schooling (NIOS) offers genrela and academic courses at the secondary and senior secondary level.

* If you wish to use NIOS certificates for higher studies it's your own interest that you should meet the requirements of boards and universities you wish to join.

* Some of the boards/ universities require specific subject combination to get an admission.

* As these NIOS certificates are valid, recognized and at par with the other national and state board of school education.
