I have completed my 12th from NIOS Delhi with 52% overall and took IELTS in which i scored 6.5 overall but my query is that "Is NIOS acceptable to study abroad?" because someone told me that Embassy don't take NIOS Students for Student Visa. Also, I confirmed it with some consultants some of them said "YES" and some said "NO.

So, I want to confirm that is NIOS acceptable?

Yes, National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is acceptable for pursuing your higher studies in Abroad. Most of the foreign universities accept NIOS and provides admission. Only few universities does not accept NIOS certificate for providing admission. So, I suggest you to check whether the university accepts NIOS or not before applying for admission in foreign universities.

Yes, a student who has completed his/her 12th standard from NIOS is eligible to continue his/her further studies in Aboard and even for a student VISA. So, there is no need to worry. As you have completed IELTS exam, start applying for universities by sending your IELTS score, along with your Application form. Then the universities will verify your academic profile and the universities will send you an admission letter, if you are eligible as per university admission criteria.
