The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an internationally recognized qualification for students aged 14 to 16 years old. The examination pattern for IGCSE is similar across all grades. Here are some general features of the examination pattern:

Assessment: IGCSE exams assess a student's knowledge and understanding of subject content, as well as their ability to apply that knowledge in different contexts.

Grading: IGCSE grades are awarded on a scale from A* to G. A grade of C or above is considered a 'pass'.

Subject Options: Students can choose from a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, Social Sciences, Languages, and Creative Arts.

Exam Format:
IGCSE exams are divided into written papers and practical exams, depending on the subject. The written papers usually consist of multiple choice questions, short answer questions, and essay questions.

In terms of valuation, all grades of IGCSE are considered important in both India and abroad. However, the importance of specific grades may vary depending on the individual's goals and career aspirations. For example, some universities may require a minimum grade in certain subjects for admission into specific programs.
