You did not mention which course's 2nd year you are pursuing. However, generally any degree lasts for about minimum 3 years. So the minimum educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in STI Examination is "Bachelor Degree" or a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Since you are pursuing 2nd year, I suggest you to first complete Graduation in order to be eligible for appearing in STI Examination. Remember, Minimum Bachelor Degree is required to be eligible for appearing in any competitive examination. So make sure you complete Graduate Degree before applying in order to get eligibility. The minimum age required to be eligible is 18 years and the maximum age must not exceed 33 years and of course there will be an age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates.

You should complete your graduation first and then only you can apply for STI examination.

Below, I have mentioned the eligibility criteria for it, kindly have a look at it;

> Candidate should have completed hi graduation in any stream from a recognized University.

> Candidate's age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 33 years.
