How to balance between board and IIT preparation?

If someone opt for coaching institute then he has to bunk from school as one person can not concentrate on both due to different topic covered at the same time.
Also one has to solve paper of Coaching every day hence he has to devote most of time to coaching.
Now waighted of board is 40% then how a person prepare for Board and score in board exams?

Default Re: How to balance between board and IIT preparation?

This is one of the most difficult task which the students have to face. One has to main a balance between board and IIT preparation and do justice with both by scoring good results in both fields. However, this is not an impossible task and success can be achieved if one is dedicated and hard working.
One has to follow a particular timetable and have to effectively switch the weightage of study time between board and IIT preparation. Otherwise the best option is to drop for a year, score good results in boards and get into hardcore preparation in the dropped year.
Listening the lectures in the schools and doing the necessary home tasks given is enough for school. Rest of the time should be spent in the IIT preparation. But during the exams in schools full concentration should be on School based exams. After that again back to IIT preparation. The syllabus covered in the coaching and board syllabus matches to quite an extent. SO being thorough with such topics is mandatory. This will help in the preparation of board exams within 30 days and getting good results.
