No, girls are not allowed to get admission in NDA. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA exam.

The candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and the same examination is held by Union Public Service Commission twice every year in two stages which are generally known as Written examination and Service selection board interview for the recruitment for the defense services.

The minimum qualification required for appearing in the same examination are as following :-

* You must be an Indian unmarried male candidate.

* Your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years.

* You must be physically and mentally fit as per the service requirement.

* You must have a senior secondary degree or any degree equivalent to the same from any discipline from a recognized board of education.

Therefore being a girl you are not eligible for the NDA examination as for this examination only the unmarried male candidates are eligible.

There is no provision of relaxation or reservation on the basis of category, gender in the age limit or educational qualification.

Yes, the girl have a chance to get admission in NDA only after completing their graduation. They can get admission through various schemes like UPSC entry, SSC Technical entry, NCC special entry etc.

They can join by taking Combined Defense Service (CDS) conducted by UPSC.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidates age should be minimum of 19 years and maximum of 25 years.

* Candidate should have passed graduation in any stream from any recognized university or institution.

* Candidate should be mentally and physically fit.

* Age relaxation is applicable as per norms

As far as my best knowledge is concerned, there is no possible for female candidates to join or to get admission in National Defense Academy. An Important thing you must notice is that, "Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA" and girl candidates cannot get admission in National Defense Academy and Naval Academy. There is no such relaxation for female candidates to get admission in NDA. I am really sorry to say that, Girl Candidates (Or) Female candidates are not eligible to apply for National Defense Academy and Naval Academy Examination which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year. If you are willing to join Military, Naval or Air Force wing, then I suggest you to pursue Graduation from a recognized university to give Combined Defense Services Examination.

For IMA and OTA - Degree of a recognized university or equivalent is required

For Naval Academy - B.Sc with Physics and Mathematics (Or) Bachelor of Engineering is required

For Air Force Academy - B.Sc with Physics and / Or Mathematics (Or) Bachelor of Engineering is required

Being a girl you are not eligible to appear for NDA examination, only male candidates are eligible to appear for NDA examination, therefore, I am really sorry to say that you are not eligible for it.
