Is it possible to get direct admission for interview in NDA? Is it necessary to write entrance test?

No, it is not possible to get direct admission in NDA. This entrance exam is conducted twice in a year by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The service commission selects the candidates through the written examination followed by an Intelligence and Personality test.

The candidates for the Intelligence and personality test are selected on the basis of written examination. So, it is necessary to write the NDA entrance exam.

I am sorry to say that there is no possible way which would enable a person to appear for Interview directly, without having appeared for the entrance examination. Therefore, in order to move up to the interview round, you will have to appear and clear the entrance exam so conducted by the NDA of India.
