The Rashtriya Military Schools offers admissions only to VI and IX standards and it doesn't offer admission to 8th standard. So, you cannot apply for admission to VIII standard in Rashtriya Military School. To get admission in IX standard in Rashtriya Military School, you must have to appear in entrance examination conducted by Rashtriya Military Schools.

Eligibility Criteria :-
--> You must have completed VIII standard from a recognised school.

--> You must be in between 13 to 14 years of age.

By qualifying the written examination, you will be called for Interview and if you perform well in the Interview, you will get admission in IX standard in Military School.

Admission will be done on the basis of Common Entrance Exam. This CET basically covers subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics and English. Candidates who clear the CET and are figuring in the merit list will be called for Interview at Rashtriya Military Schools campus. Thus a candidate must pass this interview for getting admission.

Final merit list will be prepared after the Interview. As if your name is in this merit list then only they will give you admission.

For Common Entrance Test you need to fill an application form. Exam fee will be paid in the form of demand draft in favour of " Principal , Rashtriya Military School".

NOTE: You will be only provided admission, if you do score well in the entrance examination conducted.

In class 9th you can take admission. The admission can be done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by RIMC.

The entrance exam is conducted into three parts-written, viva and medical exam.
RIMC provide admission only to boys who are prepare for Defence services.

Candidate should be in class 7th or 9th at the time of admission.
Candidate should have the age of 11 year and not more than 13 year.

First of all you have to fill the admission form of Rs 450/- at the time of admission.

Class: Students should be studying in class 7 or passed class 7 from any recognized school at the time of admission i.e. July 1, 2016.
