Is it mandatory for the student to change school while appearing for the board exams?

Is there any rule that if a child is appearing for board exam then he/she have to change her board from CBSE to any other board?and he or she have to go to other school other than k.v. or CBSE? I am very much confused.....can't we give board exam and stay on the same school? or is there need of change of school?

There is absolutely no necessity to change school when you are about to give the board examination. Nobody can claim this. But here there is one condition which is to be checked. Failure of the validity of this condition must be compensated by changing the school.
Let me tell you more about this. Not all schools are affiliated under state board or CBSE board. So you have to make sure that you know the affiliation of the school, before you get your child admitted there. If the school is not affiliated either under ICSE or CBSE or state board, then there is a problem. Immediately take your child to some other school that is actually affiliated. That doesn't mean that you have to wait until the board examinations of your child start and then you take him to a new school. The moment you come to know that doing 10th standard in that particular school is of no worth, admit your child in proper affiliated school. Otherwise he will not be allowed to sit for the board examinations. Other than this glitch, there is nothing that can stop your child to continue education in the same school.

No, it is not as you think or heard from anyone. There is no any difference between the school or board based examination and there is no such norms that the candidate have to change its school if he appear in the board conducting examination.

The only difference between the board and the school conducting examination is the candidate have to go out of the school to give the 2nd semester examination while in the school you are eligible to give the examination in your own school.

So there is not any other difference, so you can go through any of them.

No, it is not necessary to change the board of school to appear for board exams.

As CBSE is standard board there is no provision to change the board of school to appear for board examination.

You can appear board exams from the same school. You can also study class 11 and class 12 in the same board after passing class 10 from the same board.

No, as per CBSE rules, you cannot change from one school to another school, while pursuing your intermediate. But, you can get exemption from this rule, by getting permission from the principal of your school. Even tough, you got permission, you can change to another CBSE affiliated school, but not a school, which is affiliated to another school.
