Yes, National Institute of Schooling is one of the educational board in Kerala. Candidates who wish to pursue their studies through open schooling can join in NIOS. Candidates who have completed 12th standard from NIOS can also get admission in higher study courses like B.Tech, CA, M.B.B.S, B.C.A, etc. But, candidates who have completed 12th standard from NIOS schooling will be less priority at the time of admission when compared with candidates who have completed their 12th standard from CBSE/ ICSE/ State Boards.
