Percentage required in 12th Science to apply in Indian Army?


Hello
I'm interested in Indian Army and
i'm doing sciences at 12th school.
what are the percentage in the results
of the 12th required to able
to apply for India Army?

By cracking the National Defense Academy(NDA) exam you can Join in the Indian Army. There is no specific percentage bar of marks in science stream for applying in/to NDA. A 12th student with science background can apply for NDA examination.

NDA examination consist three stage as given below.

1. Written test

2. SSB interview

3. Physical test.

To apply for this examination the candidate should have completed Intermediate from a recognized School or equivalent qualification. After completing intermediate examination, candidate need to crack the below entrance examination.
  • National Defence Academy Examination
  • 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme

National Defence Academy Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. 2015 NDA I Exam announcement was already out. The Examination will be held on April. If you are missed this opportunity then don't worry next announcement will be announced soon.

Eligibility Criteria :-
  • Candidate should have completed Intermediate from a recognized School.
  • Candidate who are appearing in board exams of 12th may also apply.
  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.

10+2 Technical Entry Scheme Examination is conducted by Indian Army Once in a year. Only Science Background candidates are eligible to apply for TES Examination.

Eligibility Criteria :-
  • Candidate should have completed Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized School.
  • Candidate must have secured at least 70% Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
  • Candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

The application forms will be available in only mode. There is no offline mode facility. But the candidate can pay the fee through Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking.

Actually there is no minimum percentage criteria is mentioned in the official notification to apply for NDA Examination.

You must have passed 12th standard from any stream with passing marks to apply NDA exam.

NDA exam stands for National Defense Academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

NDA exam consist three wings:-

Indian Army, Navy and Air force

Only Unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are apply for this examination.

You must be medically and Physically fit in all the respects to apply for this examination.

The selection is based on written test, SSB interview and Medical test

No such minimum marks are required for the Indian Army wing. If you get a pass mark in 12th standard, then you are eligible for the Indian Army exam. In order to join in Indian Army after completing 12th standard you must appear and qualify NDA exam which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice in a year. Those candidates who are interested to join in Indian Army through NDA exam must satisfy the below criteria,

- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or intermediate or higher senior secondary examination in any discipline from a recognized board.
- Candidates must attain 16.5 years of age should attain 19 years of age.
- Candidates must Unmarried male with good physical standard.


The NDA examination is objective with Negative marking. First, you need to clear the written test. NDA Examination comprises of a Written Exam followed by and Intelligence and Personality Test, which is conducted by the Services Selection Board.

As per educational criteria, you are eligible for Indian Army exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam. NDA exam doesn't require any percentage marks in 12th standard.

Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Sir i got 55% but in biology i got 39 marks and pcm and english are above 40 sir am i application or not ???
