I want to admit my son in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Alleppey. So I need to know about the fee expenses first. And please let me know that is it possible to get 8th standard admission in this school? Waiting for your response. Thank you!

No, you cannot get admission for 8th class in JNV (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya).

The schools offers education from class 6th to class 12th. The admission are given based on the entrance exam. The exam are conducted for 6th, 9th and 11th class admission in every year.

Since the admission is conducted for 9th class you need to complete your 8th class education from any government recognised board and then attend the admission exam for 9th class and continue your education in JNV.

The fee structure is same from class 6th to class 12th. The admission fee will vary around INR 600 - 800 for non government employees whose income is above poverty line and for government employees it will be around INR 1500 - 1800 whose income is above poverty line.
