my student, who has passed 9th icse exam
wants to drop one subject for 10th board... is it allowed?
if so when is the last date to inform
the council of the subject change????

No you cannot change your subject after passing class IX from ICSE.

Please note that as ICSE is a two year course of classes IX and X. Candidates desirous of taking the ICSE Examination are required to register in Class IX as regular school candidates from affiliated schools and are required to enter for six subjects along with Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW).
Change of subject after the candidate has been registered, is not permitted.

CBSE board student of 9th std pass Hindi course A can opt Hindi cousre B in 10th board exam?

No you cannot change your subject after passing class X from icse board .
beacuse in ICSE board there is a registration done before u pass IX for X standard.
your subject cant e changed after you registard for X.

I am sorry to say that you cannot change the subject once you have registered for 10th class in ICSE board.

ICSE board have two year i.e. for 9th and 10th registration in which you have to choose six subject as per the criteria there.

After passing 9th standard from ICSE board you can not change the subjects for 10th standard as subjects are choosen for your 10th exam when verificationis and registration is done in 9th standard for 10th subjects.

Rest you must contact your school authorities if they have not sent the files yet to the ICSE board then you can change your subjects.

No it's not possible to change your subject in class 10th as the registration is already done in class 9th.

You are not allowed to change your subject in class 10th. If you really want to change your board than you need to repeat your class 9th.
