Is there discrimination on the basis of Boards?
Tell me is there a discrimination on the basis of boards(chse,cbse,nios) , is nios only made for fail students ?

I wouldn’t say “discrimination” but yes some preference is surely given to some boards over the others. But that varies school to school i.e., basically principal to principal.
Each board has its own merits and demerits. - CBSE is preferred by most of the students because it is has a standard syllabus, easy board examinations and is also widely recognized as it is the biggest education board in India. - ICSE is a bit harder as compared to CBSE but it does provide a better learn-and-grow platform than most CBSE affiliated schools. - NIOS is preferred by those students who are not interested in attending school but in only giving examinations. Generally referred to as ‘private’, schools have mixed responses towards students who come for admissions from a NIOS background. Although, most important of all are your grades/percentages in examinations. What board you’re from doesn’t really matter if you have score well. |
